Sam

Sam had always been a very kind Mirror. He had none of the savagery of his siblings, and was prone to paranoia and extreme caution, preferring to protect instead of destroy. A psychic among the clan he came from knew from the moment he was laid that he would be different.

He was abandoned before he even hatched.

He was quickly discovered, and taken in and raised. He showed an interest in the hoard of the clan, and seemed to know immediately when something was out of place or missing, and was often found trying to reach the higher selves and organize them. He set up a secret entry so he could enter and sort through the riches without needing to walk for quite as long. (THIS passage was discovered quickly by Luna, who Sam greatly disliked despite them both being vastly different from the rest of their species.)

As soon as Sam grew strong enough, he was tasked with protecting the hoard. He was delighted, and took immediately to it.

He takes his job seriously, even facing off with a firce rival clan to protect the hoard, later discovering to his horror that he had injured his parents, their last words to him before leaving being hissed proclamations of hatred. (Once Luna witnessed him having a nightmare about the incident, and hummed a melody she remembers his Luna Mith making until he slept peacefully again. If you ask, she will deny it.)
