A loud, boastful and egotistical Skydancer, Antares wound up as clan leader alongside Sivan by sheer force of personality. He is just as fiery as his coloring suggests. Where Sivan is wise, he is rash and tends to rely on first impressions and his own instincts for decision-making.
Antares can be obnoxious in the eyes of any dragons who might mock his 'proud clan leader' schtick, but he is rarely truely unpleasant or cruel. Once he can get past his own selfish snobbishness, he really does have the clan's best interests at heart and is actually more flexible than Sivan, who, while being on the surface more serene and approachable, needs hours of wearing down before she changes her opinion on anything. This makes him the go-to clan leader for any kind of resolution.
