After their father was exalted, Feldspar's clutch of three competed with nine other half-siblings for their mother's attention. The youngest of the whole brood, Feldspar was often overlooked.

As he grew older, these feelings hardened into resentment of the deities - without whom his father would have still been around - and mistrust of dragons who professed to serve them. He left his old lair as soon as possible, joining Sedge's clan because of its members' cheerful indifference to the Windsinger.

Most dragons there were wary of the pale, silent Imperial. But Pylon recognised a kindred spirit in Feldspar and took him under his wing. Feldspar now aids Pylon and Honeycomb in keeping the clan's borders secure. Unlike the clan's other warriors, Feldspar prefers to go into battle armed with only his teeth and claws. While this unnerves many of his opponents, it also means that his hide bears the scars of the fiercest encounters.
