Uh-oh, looks like this determined adventurer took off from home (84025, Tangelojack), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.

Leah was the only survivor of her mother's latest brood. Born with poor health and a crippled right hind leg, she still fared better than her younger sister, Palerose, who perished within moments of hatching.

Due to her mother's coddling and overprotective nature, Leah grew up a lonely child. Her useless leg made it nearly impossible to walk, as it threw off her balance to the point where she spent most of her time facedown on the ground rather than upright. She got around by being carried around by her grief ridden mother, who rarely left her side.

When the opportunity arose for her to go live in an allied clan, she leapt at the chance. Leah worked tirelessly as an errand dragon, a position she insisted on taking despite her crippled leg.

She lived happily in the rapidly growing town, but secretly she envied the dragons who could leave, the travelers and the messengers that came and went. Leah's resentment for her weak leg grew with each passing day, and soon, she pushed herself to work each day with one goal in mind: to strengthen her mind and body enough to leave the clan and travel on her own.

Please add a couple sentences about her time in your lair if you don't mind!

After years of being restricted by her own physical limitations, Leah left the Vogelzang's territory for the first time, weighed down by travel bags instead of illness, and with a lightness in her heart she hasn't felt since she arrived at the lair for the first time.

#19670:
She found herself up and up and up in the air, swept away by the twisting crescendo until all she could see were clouds and sky. The wind roared all around her until she managed to pull herself free and land on a rocky outcropping that ended up being some sort of floating island. Upon it she found other dragons, a decent sized lair that had made its home there.

They were a friendly bunch and were eager to welcome her into their wings for a visit, happy to hear the tales of her triumph and share their food in return for her companionship. Time there was joyous, but eventually she knew she must push on and so she bid the clan goodbye and spread her wings to fly off to a new destination.

#84025:
Vogelzang falls and Leah escapes by the skin of her teeth.

The sky turns black, the trees warp, and the pulsing tendrils of shadow magic nearly spelled her doom. She ran, even with her crippled leg throbbing the whole way, out of the town, out of the woods.

She does not look back.

A mysterious black and gold dragon shuffles her cards lazily, watching Leah. She draws three cards, and places them face down. One by one she turns them over, her eyes hardly wavering from Leah. The skydancer's voice is soft, but carries across to Leah regardless.
The Hierophant. You had a strong bond to someone in your past. The Ace of Pentacles. You do not want for more material possessions now. The Devil. Beware of someone who seems good but seeks to do you harm in your future.
Leah leaves soon after.
