Violet is a stubborn and passionate guardian. New Haven is a Light clan at the coast of the Focal Point, and Violet never thought of any other clan as a home, including the summit that she is now paid to protect. She is the middle child of Marianne Sonnstrel, a primal sage with high regard in her clan. Though she was to a point isolated in family matters, Violet focused funneling her focus into the well being of her home.
Violet found herself focusing on more martial matters, acting as a captain to a guard, eventually gaining the moniker of ‘Champion of New Haven,’ the odd one out of all her siblings. Combat was the only thing her light flight curiosity ever favored, further drifting from her family's circles. Despite that comforting distance, when it came to using any of her flight's powers, Violet heavily detested. Violet rarely ever used it, especially in battle.
This career accumulated into her being recruited to help reclaim the lost outpost Sycamore Summit, though how this mission will succeed is beyond Violet's sight.

Lazuli

Though originally forced to hang out, often when their parents were speaking, Violet and Lazuli came around to each other. As they grew up both she, he, and Evelyn became thick as thieves. Their bond has held strong and Violet will protect him no matter what. Often worried for his timid nature and tries to communicate for him if he gets too anxious.

Evelyn

Evelyn took random jobs in the flight where Violet lived. She always asked if Violet could play and they always did so at some point, shortly after joined by Lazuli. Evelyn ended up following the two everywhere, either becoming friends or keeping an eye on those around them, continuing into their adulthood. She and Violet have dated once, but Evelyn made everyone she knows to promise to never speak of it due to some (several, many, and/or too long a list of) embarrassing teenage shenanigans.

Barry, Izanami, & Dagda

This trio became surrogate parents to Violet and her friends when they were young, with one of them being a godparent, though none remembering which one was. Barry came into Violet's life at just the right time. He encouraged her to take life into her own hands, pursue what made her happy, and she will be forever grateful to him and his partners for caring for her. While Barry would push for going in head first in her passions, Izanami would more guiding towards her interests and Dagda would warn her of the dangers of said interests.
