-Relations-
Cassian
Church met Cassian and Kenway when they were getting harassed by some dragons at the Temple, so that justified how Church had to step in. At least keep him out of situations that the two couldn't talk his way out of. He's got a good head on his shoulders, so Church felt fine becoming friends with him. After they met back up at the Summit, Church was fine helping him resolve things around the mountain. It doesn't mean Church is good at it, at times the opposite, but Cassian has a lot to do with little time to himself and Church is willing to try for him.
Kenway
Kenway is a clever guy who's good with mechanics. After making a deal with the guardian to help him get supplies, Kenway made sure to keep in touch just in case. They met back up when Kenway got dragged into joining the Summit project, and Church let both him and Cassian hide in his room whenever they got overwhelmed.
Nemo
Nemo was an odd friend to make. Nemo was commonly isolating herself, and Cassian encouraged Church to befriend her. After a couple weeks he relented and the two began to talk, eventually at least. After starting to see each other as mutuals, Nemo started confiding in Church. How the two developed a friendship is beyond him, but hey, Nemo has someone to vent to and seemed all the better for it. Not entirely but something is better than nothing. She is commonly sent with Church on expiditions.
