Ferisone was born in the Scarred Wasteland, but his mother left him while he was still newborn. He doesn't know anything of his past, the first thing he remembers is that he woke up in the middle of the old shadow camp. Confused, and with fresh scars on his body. He was the biggest in the clan, even though he just became an adult by then. Ferisone wanted to prove himself that he wasn't nothing by not knowing his past, he wanted to serve his new clan. He wanted to fight the beasts who terrorized the territory of the dragons, but he couldn't do it alone. Nobody else wanted to risk their lives with fighting, so Ferisone waited for other members to join the clan. He was impatient, and started to wander trough the forest. Looking for something he could train with, scratching the trees and catching leaves became boring. He became more impatient than he already was, and finally two other dragons took the job on them. (One might have been forced to to prevent Ferisone from taking down trees) He trained hard and long, but not fast enough to prevent The Ambush.

Ferisone is one of the few survivors of The Ambush, and literally saw the clan falling apart. Two of his best friends were killed during the battle, he still feels guilty about it. He thinks he could have prevented it if he had trained more. But Lumos keeps telling him that it has happened, and he can't change it. Seafoam also helped him, she joined the clan after they had moved to the Sunbeam Ruins. She still loves him, Ferisone trains his children for the last few moments in the clan. Before Rozem sends them to the Lightweaver.
