Biography

“The very first thing I could remember was… to belong somewhere.”

This line holds significance for Moonstrike—better known as Moony—a small, black-and-white colored Fae that had no family to turn to, nobody to lean on, basically nobody to grow up with. The world was hard; very hard—surviving alone in the Shifting Expanse without family nor friends; had already proven the undoing of many a Lightning dragon that had not known the pleasure of company. She knew that she had to find a place to call home, at least, and began searching through the entire Expanse—several places had stuck out to her, but what really hit a chord was a particular ring of cacti, very near the borders of Lightning territory. This particular location faced several other lands where dragons were known to make their roost; but to her: it was home.

Even if she was alone, it was most definitely home. Eventually, the little ring of cacti became known as a rather popular ‘rest stop’ for weary, travelling dragons who were either coming in or heading out of Lightning territory—mostly messengers or couriers; although there were the odd vagabond or two thrown into the mix. Moony herself was known to be a rather protective (if somewhat obsessive) ‘den mother’, and all the travelers who frequented the particular ring of cacti she’d single-handedly taken over attest to her fierceness—despite her miniature size. It didn’t take too long for her feisty attitude to begin attracting potential mates; but with nothing but ‘work’ on her mind, how could she entertain the notion of having a ‘partner’ in order to ease the loneliness?

At this point, a certain garishly-colored male Fae makes his appearance in her life—little did she know that this particularly annoying suitor of hers would eventually win her over.

Random Information:

• Rather OC when it comes to keeping the lair in order.
• For her size, she has the temper of a volcano. Just don’t make her mad. AT ALL.
• Very ‘motherly’ when it comes to younger dragons passing through her lair.
• Until she’d met Sai, she was pretty much ‘wild’. His presence served to cool her feistiness down somewhat.
• She has ‘presence’. Most of the vagabonds that make up Clan Avalon know when to shut up and be on their best behavior whenever she enters a room and she’s got this blazing mad glint in her eye.
