| Healer | Nestmaid | Mate to Raem |

Hecate hails from the Ashfall Waste, where she was originally trained to treat the typical cuts and burns that come with metalworking in the forges. However, when a fight between rival clans broke out, she had to pick up battlefield medicine as she went. A gift with magic would have come in handy during this time, but Hecate only had her wits, her herbs, and her bandages, the latter of which she soon ran out of. Having to make do made her a very versatile healer, an innovative one, and some of the remedies she came up with when she had naught but her bare claws are now in use all over the land.

After a short, but bitter, war, Hecate was severely shaken, and unable to stay at her home, and travelled across the land looking for a place she could settle. She tried to help where she could, but remained restless and agitated. She yearned for peace, but a peaceful places where a battle medic can practice her craft are few and far between. Finally, she settled for a time in the Light Realm, where she met Raem, who was studying to become a healer, and fell in love. His gentle words soothed her nightmares, and his wiles got her into the libraries, where she could study true medicine. Then, the two moved south, to join Clan Sochia, where they could spend more time caring for hatchlings than battle wounds.

It takes the most delicate of claws to be able to set a fae's wingbone, and Hecate certainly has them. She is grace under pressure. Even when airlifting an injured dragon that almost outweighed her, it was as if the airborne fireballs were gentle gusts of wind. She's not one to waste words, but always seems to manage a kind one for the dragons under her care. To an outsider, her bedside manner needs work, but ask any of her former patients. There's no other healer they'd rather trust with their care. She is fiercely loyal to her mate, Raem. Truly, they never left their honeymoon. It's a good thing they work together, as otherwise, their desire to be together would get in the way of their work.
