Aurora was the first. She knows that much. But where she came from? How she came to be? Those are different matters entirely. Although she is headmistress and founder of the Academy, Aurora spends as little time around the other dragons as possible, choosing to bury her snout instead in the old books and scrolls that her youngest pupils manage to scavenge. At first, it was in the blind hope that she'd find some answer to her origin in the sacred pages of civilizations past. Soon, however, it became abundantly clear to her that the beings that wrote the tattered novels were no longer around. This caused her a great deal of grief and stress, as she had grown to be a fond connoisseur of myths, fables, and fairytales, most particularly of the brothers Grimm. Deciding that she couldn't stand the thought of a literary standstill, the Academy was founded to educate more writers and thinkers. Personality: Shy and quiet, few people ever really see the elusive headmaster of the Academy. Choosing to invest her time in research, Aurora can usually be found lurking in the gardens or in the library. |
