Celestiine

Celestiine, was a nurturer above all else. Though, none of her children remained in her clan, she nurtured all those whom seeked and ultimately joined her family. Every one of the dragons in her clan was protected by her, cared for by her, and loved by her. She would never let anything happen to them or their children...so many of these poor souls had already suffered terrible loss. She herself had known loss....

*the hatchlings playing in the meadow beyond the creek by their burrow. she could hear the sound of their laughter, the happiness she felt...she saw Vlad and his unending love for her. she knew they would always be together....

*The clan never thought tragedy would devastate them so...a storm howled one cool summers night, lightening and floods washed out their nests. The winds making it almost impossible to fly, were blowing the hatchlings away from their parents. Celestiine tried to reach her babies, but she could not glide fast enough. The storm did not differentiate between young and old as it swept them into the watery abyss at the edge of the Viridian labrinyth. When dawn finally broke out across the clan, many mourned the loss of loved ones, but none more than Celestiine, who had lost everything...even the mate she loved.
