Biography

Lair mother of the Pawpaw Patch clan. She takes great pride in growing her stand of pawpaw trees and weaving them into interesting shapes. Unlike most mirrors she has developed a fond taste for fruit, and she is rather chatty often happily singing. She has grown her clan by taking in the ragged loners and off casts of other clans including other flights. She takes great pride in teaching them the ways of the Gladekeeper and is always overjoyed when a former student heads off to go serve the Gladekeeper personally.

Her mate is Alawyn who lost his way when traveling with his pack as they traveled looking for food. She convinced Alawyn to stay and they now take care of the clan together.

One day Ryuki heard of another clan finding an egg out in the wilds all alone and she was horrified by that thought. She she pestered and bothered her Alawyn to go 'rescue and eggie from the evils'. Little did she know that Alawyn would be gone so long her clan had almost given him up for gone if it had not been for Clwyd the healer checking up on him from time to time and reporting that Alawyn was still alive.

During her depressed state thanks to Alwayn having not been seen for a very long time (not even by Clwyd) Aberfa grabs Clwyd and drags Ruki off on her own adventure into the caves to hunt for geodes. While battling there and collecting much needed food for the clan Ryuki was surprised to find a lone little shadow egg. She couldn't leave the little egg behind and brought it back with her to the Patch.

It was shortly after finding the shadow egg that Ryuki was reunited with a bedraggled Alawyn who also had returned with his very own earth egg. They are now very carefully tending the two abandoned eggs waiting for them to hatch so they can shower the little hatchlings with love.

Ryuki found a lonely Red-Footed Akirbeak. It's now her best little friend in the world...even though it singes her once in a while. (RFB came from the ever wonderful Rhea's going away raffle. Goodbye Rhea Nature will never be the same without you.)
