Drift

A filthy, foul-mouthed stargazer, few would believe it if they were told that this malodorous hermit was one of Delphi's most brilliant minds. But while his hygiene and social graces are sorely lacking, Drift himself possesses an understanding of the universe's workings that borders on prophetic, and seems far better suited to a child of the Starfall Isles than the Scarred Wastes. In similarly intellectual company his demeanor cleans up considerably (even if he does not) so he is often encouraged to remain in the labs allocated to non-medical research with his peers. Even at that, his comprehension is enough that he has more than once been accused of making things up simply because no one else will know any better. This is entirely true, and he is constantly pushing the edge of Quintus' gullibility.

When not in the labs, he can often be found wallowing in a stew of rotting matter, growling and swearing at everyone who asks if he's that Drift.

The consistency of the assumption might have something to do with his feelings towards social interaction.
