Dragons of true Wind "  "The original dragons from this clan, were born from a curious phenomenon. They were once beings that existed within the stratosphere and other layers of the upper atmosphere. Much like whales in the ocean, these dragons were filter feeders, and consumed their nutriment from consuming gaseous elements and with an internal biological system, absorbed the energy released by the separation of the intramolecular bonds. Xanth, Ziki and Shaami are the only dragons who remain from this lineage, they will pulled to ground as the Twisting Crescendo became particularly violent one season. Because of their previous habitat and diet, these dragons were similar to ethereal beings and could not exist in this plain. As they lay screaming in anguish, their bodies being crushed by gravity, the merciful Deity, Windsinger took pity upon them and blessed them with real dragon bodies, so they may live among other flesh bodied dragons. There came a time, however --the clan had caught an illness. A messenger came back from the Scarred Wasteland aggressive, sick. A disease spread through the clan. A parasite to be more correct. The parasite was similar to cordyceps, it brought the dragons of Xanthorrhoeam to the abiding boneyard, like they craved it more than anything else. They became dragons of Plague and survive. |

Xanth himself, is the leader of this clan. He takes it upon himself to protect this clan from all woes, regardless of if his foes are monsters of plague, or that one overzealous spiral. However, his sin is lust. After his belly is full from the hunt, he delights in the pleasures of women.  |
