Endure and survive.
Rush. His name deceives, and at the same time, befits. His demeanour is unwavering, like a strong column of stone in a decrepit ruin. His will is of iron. His mind, wise as that of ancients. And yet, Rush is an aged thing, and he ages things. The essence of senescence emanates from his core. Where he treads, life decays at his will. A regrettable, but at times necessary, way of being: he draws strength from their hastened demise.
Rush is a predator, and his prey is especially not exempt from this twisted fate. Where their composure do not buckle from his presence, their energy will. Sapped like warmth in a winter's chill. Like this, Rush waits, biding time for his target, both enemy and innocent meal alike, to rot itself away, before he moves in for the kill.
But, his power is not bottomless. Pushing the symptoms of time can be as difficult as reversing them. Although he gains strength though his power, he also becomes a little more hollow – his demeanour, becoming more and more a reflection of the states of the faces of all the life he had siphoned. His parents, he does not know who they are, but he knows this was what led to their demise. This unwieldy use of a great power. Rush will not make the same mistake.
