Baron Munchausen is a living legend. He soared to vaulted heights and raced the Windsinger around the world-- twice. He seduced the Moon, which so enraged the Sun that a drought scorched the land for twelve seasons. Then he seduced the Sun and the three of them had a laugh. He once disguised himself in the pelt of a polarfreeze defender and snuck into the court of their king. The king found the Baron so charming that he invited him into the icy palace gardens. Munchausen repaid the courtesy by stealing a snow peach. He ate it, stone and all, and now every time he sneezes a winter gale sweeps the sky.

The hatchlings of the clan love nothing better than to hear the adventures of Baron Munchausen. He was the first of the clan and is adored by all who came after.
