ABOUT
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Many years ago, a young Guardian left her nest. She travelled alone for most of her life, crossing between one point of Sornieth to another. She explored ruins, amassed unique treasures, and listened to the stories of other weary travellers. But it did not seem to be enough for her - she wanted someone to share her adventures, riches, and knowledge with. Someone she could nurture and protect. Another dragon with whom she could, perhaps, give birth to a new legacy. Her wishes came true in the form of a Mirror dragon. Not much older than she was, they joined forces and revelled in their shared taste for conquest. They blazed a trail across the land and back again, soon filled with experience and wisdom, coffers filled with riches, and hearts filled with an undeniable adoration for one another. Joined by several other dragons they have befriended during their travels, the Guardian settled in the Sunbeam Ruins and hatched three healthy baby dragons - one of whom would take her place as the clan’s leader after her passing. One evening, the Mirror disappeared from the lair without a trace. And so had the hatchlings. Stricken with grief, the Guardian spent many sleepless nights searching for the missing dragons with the help of her clan. And their efforts were in vain - the Guardian’s mate and children would never be seen again. The Guardian knew she had been betrayed, and cursed her mate’s name for taking her children away from her. Beneath her ever radiant guise, her bitterness would only grow, and she swore that she would kill her mate herself on the account of crossing her. Her clan would support her in her endeavours, and it was not long before they grew and rose to prominence. If you walked amongst the Sunbeam Ruins on a bustling day, you may have heard the name spoken loudly over the clamour. But these days, you might only catch it in hushed whispers: Clan Sundancer. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
JOB
If the clan were to be manifested as a dragon, it would take the form of the High Sovereign herself. She represents the very spirit and ambition of the clan as a whole, and she uses these aspirations of hers to direct the flow of which the clan members work towards. The High Sovereign is a positive, jubilant, and wise individual, and many look up to her for inspiration and guidance. It is her job as the High Sovereign to speak to her clan members as their representative. She must voice the clan’s achievements, decisions, and concerns on a regular basis in order to keep everybody focused. She does not make most of the clan’s important decisions herself - most of that is taken care of by the Radiant Council.
