Echo came from the lair of Abysea and just mailed the following letter back to her former clan:

"HELP ME.
GET ME OUT OF HERE.

...not to dramatize the situation, because you know I'm totally not dramatic (...yes, I remember the tantrum I threw when you made me read a book, but I swear, it's not like that - this is serious). These dragons are -crazy-. One of them thinks a pineapple is her mother. I mean, what is she, stupid? How can a pineapple produce a guardian? How does that mating even work? It's as insane as saying you're born of a fae and a guardian - I mean - that sort of size difference just doesn't work.

Anyway, so first - there's the crazies. And I could handle the crazies, if it wasn't for HIM. He is the single most annoying, infuriating, frustrating, arrogant spiral I have ever met. I mean, I don't. even. have. the. words. Look at him, look at that smug face:

And the worst part is he just WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE. I had barely arrived and met the crazies when suddenly -he- showed up. You won't believe what he said to me, he said, "Hey pretty lady - feel that sexual tension? Bet the friction from it made that pearl."

I mean - WHAT A WEIRDO - and to speak of my pearl that way... I just.. I just can't. And then he just kept on hitting on me and trying to get me to go to the nesting grounds with him.

I am coming back. Packing my things up and coming back. I don't care if there isn't room for me, I will. not. stand. for this.

...oh wow, um, so right after I wrote that, this pearlcatcher named Rapture came back and welcomed me. She said she'd show me the flowers she's growing. She seemed really sweet. And then this other pearlcatcher, Mallory, came by, and asked if I was a warrior.. and I said yes, because you know, I totally am, and she smiled and said she'd welcome me by taking me with her to exalt some dragons. I like exalting dragons. It seems fun.

Although this other pearlcatcher, Nightmare, warned me about her. She said Mallory can be a total nightmare (no pun intended) and that she even bathed her once, but honestly, seeing how dirty Nightmare is... I am not exactly surprised. Frankly, she could use a few more baths. Like ten. Or twenty.

Fine, I'll stay. But ugh, this spiral... how do I get rid of him?
