Naolini

A dragon with his whole life's philosophy entwined around the virtue of honor, Naolini wears his pride close to heart and guards it jealously. Any dragon or beast who dares to leave even the tiniest of marks upon it is certain to find themselves humiliated in some manner at the paws of the great Guardian. Even worse, he won't do so in a dishonorable manner. He'll make certain that the shame is well-deserved.

Though he may be harsh and cold at times, he is not unfair or unkind. He rules as Lord over the Realm of the Corvidae using logic and reason in his judgements. This is why he has always known that Ice Flight was his true home. Emotion does not control him or overcome him. Sometimes, this leads him to being cruel, but he sees kindness and generosity towards others as a logical thing to do when it does not have negative consequences.

As Lord of his clan, he takes charge mainly of the armed forces, organizing and training each of his dragons to be a deadly fighter. The dragon wears a pair of might tawny antlers upon his head, the clan's leadership talisman.

He always confers with his two second-in-command dragons, Sayrin and Winterclaw, but in the end the final say on the big decisions is up to him. Naolini trusts them with a lot, and though he refuses to admit it, knows he'd be lost without them and they clan would crumble.

Naolini is aromantic, but he is in a queer-platonic partnership with Sayrin, who is also aro. He feels a great deal of affection for her, even if it isn't romantic, and he saw the logic and value of a partnership with the Tundra dragon. Together, they raise dragons meant specifically to serve the Icewarden.

His charge is his familiar, a Deathseeker, and all species belonging in the family of Corvidae--and more specifically, the Corvus genus--within his realm. All dragons who join his clan take on the duty of protecting all birds of the crow family in the region. They are under Naolini's protection, and he has even put together a special force within his clan that specifically guards their lair and their realm at all times. Upon his shoulder rides his familiar when it sleeps; otherwise it never ventures far from the Guardian. It watches from the skies above, patrolling the surrounding land and watching all who approach Naolini.

Dragons have given him the nickname Guardian of the Crows, but they rarely dare to speak it in front of him when the singular emerald eye of the Deathseeker watches them.
