Head of this clan, guardian of Guardians and small dragons in need of protection. A strong warrior Hizzini takes great pleasure in spars and fights with any dragon or being that approaches. Hizzini left her birth-clan at a young age to go on her Search, however it was many decades before she found her charges. She encountered Poaceae trying to fight off a group of Hainu while protecting three baby dragons. After defeating the Hainu, Hizzini knew that these dragons would be hers to protect. In that time she has, because of Poaceae, collected additional dragons in need of protection and a home.

Hizzini designated the general rearing of hatchlings to Poaceae but has given the duty of guarding and defending them to her favorite consort Tikaka. If any dragon scouted by Tikaka or Wyldon appears to have a talent for battle Hizzini will take them under her wing until they are skilled enough to fight alone.

As the clan has grown in size and diversity Hizzini, who cares little for politics or money, formed a small unit of trusted dragons to handle the more day-to-day affairs. Kalish handles the contracts and negotiations with other clans and caravans, Sheila organizes the production of goods, and Spirit is responsible for the clan's finances. But do not be fooled into thinking Hizzini is nothing but brawn, Hizzini is a skilled strategist and formidable leader. She just refuses to do a tedious job when she can pass it off to another instead (she's surprisingly lazy).
