Neve - Frozen Radiance
Clan Matriarch

Bio

Matron founder of Clan of Shimmerrig Quarter, previously the Clan of the Sun Pillars (their recent acquisition of a quarter of Lanterlea is reflected in this new clan name). Neve's coat has been encrusted with frost for as long as she has lived even though she is a Light dragon who has never visited the frozen reaches, and despite its appearance, most of her fur is warm and soft. Founding the clan alongside her mate Uaithne, Neve has mothered many nests and has looked after many more. Despite being one of the clan's progenitors, Neve rarely, if ever, takes a leadership role. She spends her time tending to the nests of her clan, looking after the young dragons. It is not uncommon to find hatchlings hiding in her fur, especially in the summertime where the frost on her fur is a welcome relief from the heat and warm sunlight (despite the fact that Neve is one of the smaller members of the clan, even hatchlings that are bigger than her due to the nature of their species still try and hide under her wings).

Naturally calm, Neve settles disputes among her clan, but rarely does much more than that. She looks after each and every hatchling in the clan, and considers herself a mother to nearly all of them, the exceptions being those older than her, those that have joined her clan from faraway places and haven't quite been the kind to endure her mothering ways.
