Biography
Many years ago, when Endewyn was still a child, the young veilspun felt he didn't belong. He'd spend much of his daytime wandering around outside, searching for potential new homes. One day, he wandered for so long that night had fallen before he'd even thought of returning. And yet he wandered on until he was tired. Knowing the dangers of sleeping alone, he did his best to stay awake until he could find some warmth to carry him through the night. Nearly spent, Endewyn eventually found a clan of sleeping dragons, and promptly joined them.
He awoke to find himself held within a set of fins, carefully kept close to the body as the dragon moved about. Almost as if sensing his awakening, a head bowed into view. It smiled.
"My name's Calixto," the undertide shared. "Glad I could keep you warm."
This massive dragon ended up being Endewyn's first piece of feeling comfortable. He would remain by the veilspun's side as the latter continued to search for familiarity with himself, and eventually the two travelled from their home in the Starfall Isles to find a new place to belong.
While in the Tangled Wood, a storm brewed, and ripped the two apart. Endewyn awoke for find himself alone amongst company once again. Other dragons that had been ripped from the sky in the storm. He didn't want to leave, in case Calixto ever came to look for him, so he and the other dragons decided turn themselves into a small clan that eventually grew into a well known and oft-visited lair dedicated to teaching dragons the basics of fighting before they headed off to wherever they planned next - usually to serve under the Shadowbinder.
He'd grown a lot, and had found himself a place to belong. But still he yearned for his first friend...
