Storyteller

As you make your way out of the clearing, you notice a small "cave", actually a rotten tree with a hole in it. It looks as if there might be something inside of it. Cautiously, you head toward the tree. A large horned beast is standing in front of the hollow, as if guarding it. Warily you keep one eye on the ram, but it pays you no heed.
You peek your head inside, and the first thing you notice is the mess. Feathers, pieces of parchment, and those glowing mushrooms are scattered on the floor.
A hooded skydancer is sitting on the floor in front of you, holding a cup of tea.
"I was wondering if you'd be stopping by. Would you like a cup of nettle tea? Oh, don't be alarmed. It won't sting your tongue or anything. No? Suit yourself."
You realize that the dragon never told you his name.
"Name? No one ever calls me by name. They call me the Storyteller."
The Storyteller?
"Yes. Would you like to hear a story?"
It's getting late. You should probably be heading home.
"Surely you have time for one little story? And a cookie?"
Where did that cookie come from? You can feel your mouth water.
Okay, maybe you have time for one little story. The Storyteller grins.
"Wonderful! Make yourself comfortable, and I'll tell you a story about dragons and gods."
