What Are You Made of - Water and Glass


Sent by the Starkeeper Aeva, Kalarin brought Iridani's locket to Navarre and nearly lost his life over it before he was able to explain.

Driven from his Weyr for being too weak, as a juvenile Kalarin wandered the land aimlessly. Survival taught him basic combat skills, but it didn't dampen his easygoing and friendly disposition' Kal is the sort who gives the benefit of the doubt to any and all strangers. His knack for first aid soon manifested, and lead to a passion for learning. Well-versed in many of the languages and dialects of the land, Aeva frequently uses him as a messenger and emissary to those she cannot reach telepathically.

Kal collects stories and remembers everything. Naturally charismatic, he makes friends anywhere - a defence mechanism that held over from his youth. Violence is an absolute last resort for him, but though he's willing to give anyone a chance, prove him wrong and you'll soon regret it: his Electrical element gives him an intuitive knowledge of the nervous system, and with this knowledge he can deliver a devastating attack that leaves his opponents paralyzed.

He came to the find Iridium Weyr entirely by accident, stumbling into it along his many travels. Since then he's called the valley his home base, despite departing frequently to carry messages or travel to new places. When home, he spends as often as he can apprenticing under the Skykeeper, and it was under her tutelage that he honed his medicinal skills to the level they are now.
