As most Guardians do at a certain age, Aoibh decided to leave her clan, feeling a great need to find herself and perhaps find a charge to look over. It was pure chance she came across a near death Lir, and in that moment something clicked within her. Taking the small Fae with her, she delivered him to the small cavern she had called home for some time at that point.

There was some small miracle involved that the dragon, who she came to know as Lir, survived. He was strong, however - stronger than she even expected - and it was enough to truly gain her respect. He became her charge in that moment, and the two of them quickly became inseparable - two dragons trying to make it in a very big ocean.

Surprisingly, Aoibh is a far more outwardly friendly dragon than one might expect. She's certainly much more jovial than Lir, who is admittedly still a bit stunted from his harsh beginnings. She doesn't mind taking control when it comes to meeting other clans and caring for others - and she certainly does not mind her job in guarding Lir. That fierce protectiveness extends to all her clan, whether temporary or permanent members. As far as she is concerned, no harm will come to the dragons around her, whether they're visiting the clan's territory to relax or her clan themselves.
