biography

when it came time for her search to begin, glacierstar was blessed to have a friend accompany her: a fellow guardian by the name of arcticstorm. close friends since childhood, the pair had planned to support each other throughout their search and, if fate permitted, even after they'd laid down their roots.

over the next few months, the pair wandered the frigid plains of the icewarden's domain. it was a difficult task, to survive the bitter cold and harsh environment of the south. yet, to their great surprise, they weren't alone in their struggle - what had originally started out as a pligrimage for two younglings eventually grew to a sizeable band of roving dragons. dragons who, knowing the tribulations of winter, could come together to support one another through thick and thin.

a family to call their own.

but as their numbers grew, anyone could see that they needed a more permanent home; a place for the elderly and the children to shelter, where they could be loved and cared for. construction began at the foot of a nearby mountain, a lair for the clan etched within its shadows. 		‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎

at first, glacierstar had assumed she and arcticstorm would leave, as neither had yet to find their destined charge. yet when the first den was finally completed and the first dragons laid down their weary heads... she realised she had.

this band of ragtag misfits, of wanderers and outcasts from all over sornieth, of dragons simply seeking something else- her family - was what she was meant to protect.

and as for her best friend, the one who'd known her the longest? fate smiled upon them that day, for he had similarly found what he wanted to protect with all his heart: the smile of his mate, his childhood friend.

with arcticstorm by her side, she and the elders of the group sought to expand their clan, both for their own sakes and that of others; they hoped to grow into a clan that would be able to provide warmth to those still searching, to grant reprieve to those still struggling...

a safe haven for all.

about
 glacierstar is a part of the clan's council of elders- the sanctuary's leaders who include the original founding members. though young, she is still looked to as a leader by many in the clan and she strives to be worthy of their respect and of the position she's found herself in.

  • stuff i'm too lazy to put into words atm:

    the clan is led by elders, so there's not like one sole leader; she is seen as one of the main ones as she is the public face/speaker of the elders

    she's very protective and though prefers diplomatic situations to direct confrontation, those claws are not just for show

    she's one of the younger if not the youngest council member and she's well loved

    exalted dragons are either: dead, left the clan, or lit went to work for a specific god

    we should put like a relationship tab SOMEWHERE...one day

    just dump more stuff here as we go... wl maybe go onto arctic?
