Spectra

As she walked, dragons nearby stopped what they were doing, turning towards the female Coatl. Some stared in awe, others with envy brimming in their eyes, all because of her looks. Spectrum was a very beautiful dragon, which was obvious to most who looked at her. She knew this, and took great pride in it to the point of becoming rather vain, and taking more time out of her day to clean her feathers and polish her gems than the average dragon.

Despite her thinking she's prettier than others, Spectrum is quite caring and generous. She would gladly help one of her friends if they were ever in need of her assistance, not asking for anything in return. The Coatl believes in karma, and so she always tries to be helpful and kind.

Spectrum speaks in an authoritative tone. This is a dragon that you know you can trust with your life, even if she seems a little intimidating. Spectrum is quick to speaking her thoughts and defending her friends, as she doesn't like to hear somebody accuse another wrongly. She treats most everybody with respect, unless you have harmed herself or the people close to her.

She loves the thought of seeing new places and travelling to different Flights, but in the end she always stays with her Clan. She thinks that her friends are more important than seeing all of the flights, as her friends would greet her with smiles and warmth, and the other Flights would see her off, with eyes pointing daggers and sharp claws digging into the ground- or worse, her.

Spectrum was an only child, causing her parents to spoil her. She was gifted many things- toys, clothes, the list goes on for a while. Despite this, however, her parents also taught her modesty. The dragon knew that she had more than others in her Clan, but she did not rub it in.

Her parents were important figures in her Clan, and they were considered by some to be the most beautiful dragons in their Clan, if not the Light Flight. This put a lot of pressure on the young dragon, and so she always strived to look good. She took hours out of her day to clean her feathers and polish her gems so that they would gleam.

Many things were expected of this dragon from birth. She was supposed to be gorgeous, they said. Oh, no wait, she was going to be a good fighter. No, a good mother! Their expectations changed rapidly, and she was unsure of what to do. The pressure was too much for the young dragon, and so in a state of panic, she left her Clan.

It was meant to be for only a short while, enough so that she could cool off. However, the young Coatl was still unfamiliar with their territory, and ended up getting lost. She wandered far away from the Beacon of the Radiant Eye where her Clan was, and was unable to find her way back.

Along her "journey," Spectrum stumbled across Caine. The two spoke for a while, the older Coatl concerned about the whereabouts of Spectrum's parents, and then he invited her into the Clan for a while. The younger Coatl enjoyed being in this new, unfamiliar Clan and speaking to all of the dragons, that she decided to stay.

Every now and then she misses her previous Clan, but she knows that she wouldn't have been nearly as happy there as she was here.
