Xakae is the clan’s veterinarian for all of the animal familiars in the clan. Any time Emerald notices that there’s something wrong with one of the familiars she’s taking care of, she will head on over to Xakae’s part of the lair to inform him what’s wrong. If the familiar is small enough, she’ll carry them with her.

Xakae has a wide range of knowledge when it comes to the anatomy and health of all the different critters of Sornieth, but he cannot help every single one of them. Some are more magical in nature and require the help of someone like Vokil and Rhosyn, and others aren’t even entirely corporeal beings, making it almost impossible for Xakae to help them. He does his best in any area he can, though.
