Freya
Master Healer
Skilled Alchemist | Apprentice Herbologist | Sun Reveller

Freya-by-Em.png

The compassionate lead healer of Clan Arcus Veil.

Freya is a kind and gentle soul, an intelligent student of the Light and a skilled wielder of holy healing magics. She is dedicated to caring for the dragons of her clan and is particularly devoted to her leader, Siren. Though she takes her work seriously, Freya is a cheerful being, always happy to play with the clan hatchlings and share a joke with her clan mates.

We are the beacon that shines for our world.

From a young age Freya was trained in holy magics, educated by the high priestess of her birth clan and sent off to learn the ancient ways of the light at the Sunbeam Ruins. A fateful meeting with the Lightweaver herself inspired Freya to use her knowledge and abilities to become a healer, vowing to dedicate her life to helping any sick or injured dragon she came across.
While travelling through the Abiding Boneyard in search of rare healing ingredients, she discovered a gravely injured Fae being slowly consumed by the rotting ground beneath it. Freya took the unconscious creature into her satchel and flew for days until she found refuge in the Windswept Plateau. There she tirelessly worked to mend the Fae's wounds and heal her infections, not once stopping to care for herself until the small dragon's condition was stable. After a week of little signs of life, the Fae awoke to meet her saviour, for whom she was endlessly thankful. That little Fae was Siren, the leader of Clan Arcus Veil, and to show her gratitude she offered lifelong sanctuary to Freya within the safety of her clan in the Cloudscape Crags. Freya accepted the offer, eager to begin her own dedicated healing practice in a clan she could call her home, and the two set off Southward to reunite the clan with its leader.
