Lionmane

Lionmane is the clan's best fighter and, alongside Ramoth, the clan's factual leader. Her raw power and impecable fighting skills have ensured the group's welfare many times in the past, especially when their numbers where few and their needs plenty.
She was the primary backer of King Lightbeam's reign (a stand her mate did not share) and had ensured his title with the help of most of the group's pearlcatchers. This move, however, costed her affinity with a portion of the clan, especially with the other flight representatives (generally regarded as 'aspects' of their respective flight).
Luckily for Lionmane, her strength and past prowesses had seemed to be enough to keep most of her opponents at bay (not that she minded a little skirmish from time to time). But with the recent decline in the pearlcatcher population her support, as well as the king's, slowly but surely disappeared.

Nothing good can last forever, though. And so this was proved when the other aspects revealed against the King. A gruesome fight followed in which Lionmane, Ramoth and even Dasher fought to protect the him (although only the former did so out of loyalty). The aspects, leaded by the fire aspect Everburning, assaulted the entrance to the king's lair. The trio battled agains the aspects for the entirety of the night, oblivious to the fighting that was taking place outside the cave.
Regardless of the ferocity and skills with which they fought, the aftermath of the battle showed not only all of the aspects and most members of the clan dead, but also a murdered Lightbeam. And thus witnessing the bloodbath that had occurred, the surviving members of the clan cast them away, branding them as traitors and accusing them of regicide.
The three of them must now wander throughout Sornieth, living among thieves and lowlifes. Even though their honor is been cuestioned, they are keen on traveling back to their lands sometime, to reclaim what is theirs. But their journey has just started, and the horizon holds no small amount of risks and perils yet to come...
