Qiu originally came from a lair within the Ice Flight. However, she left the lair in search for a new home came of age to breed and have hatchlings of her own. Fortunately for her, as she was flying over the Shadow Flight's territory, there happened to be a beginning lair that was accepting. Eager for a new home, she asked for acceptance by their Siah, Salvnor, and was granted access. Not long into her stay at the lair did they leave the Shadow Flight and join the Plague Flight.
By the time that the lair had joined the Plague Flight, Qiu had become the significant other of Salvnor, the male Shadow Mirror Dragon as well as the Siah of their lair. She rarely breeds with other males, but will on occasions. She's very devoted to Salvnor and keeping the lair in order rather than caring for hatchlings.
Qiu has currently had three offspring. All three offspring have been with Salvnor. All three have been exalted to the Plaguebringer. However, Vijau was cared for in the den the longest, and has the most experience in battling. Pepili and their unnamed hatchling were exalted early.
