One of the founding dragons, and the clan's first mirror, Opalite cares for little that doesn't involve her enemies and their destruction. Through all the clan's political conflicts, both old and new, she has remained completely neutral. So long as she is with her clan she genuinely doesn't care about the fine details.

Opalite is actively hated by the talonok beastclans of the Starwood Strand. When the old clan moved there, they clashed frequently. Opalite was the smallest and most agile of the clan's defenders, so she was the one to clash with them most often. She made it very clear that any Talonok she caught, she would crush in her jaws while it was still alive enough to know what was happening. It wasn't that she was hungry or liked the taste, she just wanted them to come prepared for her level of brutality or not at all. The clan's new lands in the Sunbeam Ruins have relieved her from these vicious performances, as there are no known talonok clans in southeast Sornieth.

For all her seniority, she doesn't get close to many dragons. She is close with Saber and Lutia because they all grew in power together, and she has infinite respect for the savagery that lives in Hart. It is only because of her frequent battle damage that she began to form a relationship with Haematica. Middlemist and Alala have become important to her by extension, and by proof. Opalite holds Middlemist in particular with high regard.
