Selezen

Selezen is the dark-hued, dark-faced guardian of the clan of Eraber. Born amongst the lightning-alleged, he was brought into the Murky Woodlands as no more than a hatchling, drawn instead to the shadows of the Tangled Wood. He grew up about the dim-lit trees and fit in quaintly given his dimly-toned scales and dusky-wisp like appearance. He was actually quite unfortunate appearing as a hatchling, and as such, he was granted the name 'Selezen' as it meant 'duck' in another tongue--the ugly duck who would with most certainty grow into a dark though refined swan. The imperial beast, small among his species kin though large among many of the Erabers, resides now in the outskirts of the clan's central lair. He serves as a reclusive protector to the Murky Woodlands, fending off those whom might bring harm to the shaded corner of the forest as well as keeping the peace. Withdrawn, quiet, and mysterious, he seldom seeks out company or the tidings of other life forms of his own accord. Instead, he spends his days patrolling the shadows with naught other than his companion Nevermore, often times found lingering in the caverns below the terra and only above the earth's crust during the night.

While perhaps intimidating at first, Selezen proves to be a rather noble beast. He trains many of his skills himself, though will occasionally fall under the guidance of a skilled fighter like Dis for practice. He trains himself with a steady determination, yet he concerns himself with few things other than his little-publicized watch over the lair.
