Timmy the Adventurer

Clan Co-Leader; Scavenger; Chaotic Good

This story begins with an egg, found between rotten corpses of two Guardian warriors, that once marched proudly with Plaguebringer Army, to spread chaos and violence across all Elemental Flights. And it would have ended there if not for a Bogsneak Merchant that, though many would deem the egg cursed, couldn’t simply pass by, once he spotted it. So instead, he did the only sensible thing – he prayed to the Great Gladekeeper and with blessings of peace and harmony, he took the egg.

He buried the bodies of two Guardians that died to protect the nest and a few weeks later, called the hatchling Timmy. A simple name that carried no indication of the child’s heritage. Noting to connect it with Plaguebringer and the two dragons that fell on their own land, by the claws of their own kin – all that remained, were the hatchling’s red eyes, shinning in the dark.

Although the Merchant wanted an ordinary life for Timmy, their paths parted as soon as they crossed the border with Nature Flight. Timmy was left in an orphanage, where he remained till his coming of age ceremony.

Despite never knowing his parents, Timmy was a happy hatchling with a childhood full of love and friendships. Kept away from the war the Plague Flight waged upon the world, he was allowed to grow up without violence and fear. Instead of gruesome, depressing stories from the front line, he and other orphans listened to tales of adventures and bravery, about lost treasures and princesses in need of saving. About magical items and creatures that could make any wish come true.

About proving oneself and gaining glory.

The Nature Flight, being a wonderful and safe place, wasn’t enough for Timmy. His Guardian nature called to leave, to search for something that would be worth protecting. His bravado and imagination, screamed at him to go beyond the borders of cognition, to seek the unknown and to do the impossible. So following his heart, a day after the war finally ended, Timmy packed his bags and flew South.

Full of hope and enthusiasm, ready to take in the world, he began his journey.

He befriended a Mermaid in the Water Flight and had helped an heiress of Triton’s Clan save the love of their life. He travelled to the highest mountain of Ice Flight, to aid electrician that repaired Lightning Rods – and there, he had seen a Yeti and her children, wandering the Carrion Canyon. He met scholars of the Arcane Flight and challenged with impossible task of organizing the Forgotten Archive, he had found a scroll as old as the world, that lead him to the Light Flight. And although he didn’t find a treasure worthy of a legend, he had met a travelling engineer and inventor that he had proven to be a good companion to.

The list of Timmy’s adventure was ever growing and whenever he went, he had a gift of befriending dragons – gaining their gratitude and sympathy. Yet, as the time passed, as Timmy got older and wiser, the yearning for adventure and seeking unknown had slowly changed; transformed into a primal need of belonging. Of having a home. A family – his own to take care of, his own to protect and to guide through life.

By a coincidence, when the urge to settle down was the strongest, he had met a scholar from Earth Flight – a historian from a Clan as ancient as the Earthshaker himself. Decided to have one more adventure – one that would last a lifetime, he had traveled to the Dragonhome, where he petitioned for a territory and a right to establish his own clan.

There, under the guidance of the Clan’s co-leader, Arcaniste, he had built his first nest. And something in the stones of Shattered Plain and in the view of the Pillar of the World on the horizon, began to calm his adventurous soul. The memorials – monuments and statues that hadn’t changed since centuries, anchored him. Provided the stability his wild life never knew before.

He and Arcaniste complement each other and where one insist on traditions and old knowledge, the other is open for new solutions and inventions of the modern world. Together, they make their Clan strong and a peaceful, stable place to live.

Timmy is an energetic dragon, always full of optimism and up for mischief. Once he gets interested in something, the rest of the world doesn’t matter, he’ll pursue the subject until his curiosity is satisfied. He is a great storyteller and however awkward he is at first while interacting with other dragons, he is quick to adapt and share his experiences.

A part of Timmy still yearns for adventures and adrenaline, but even in that field the Earth Flight provided to be sufficient. The mysteries of ancient cave and tunnel systems of the Greatwrym’s Breach are Timmy’s second favorite place, right after his own lair. As often as he can, he explores them and almost every time, he brings home souvenirs and trinkets – not only for Arcaniste but also for the curious hatchlings or merchants eager to pay a good price for something unique
