Honorguard

Honorguard has always loved to honor and protect his clan. His true love was once Radiance, but another dragon, Brilliance, has captured his heart. Now he cannot see himself being with one mate for the rest of his life, or one lair. Most of his offspring were exalted to the Windsinger, as he and his family love to serve a higher purpose. When Honorguard is not fighting in the coliseum, he prefers to spend his time alone, although he will make an exception to speak with the young dragons and hatchlings who look up to him.

While separated from his mate and the life he knew in his previous clan, Honorguard began to throw himself wholeheartedly into his work of training the dragons who came to him on their journey to serve the Arcanist. He would fight in the Mire until he and his team collapsed, only to drag himself and his team up to battle once more. Fighting in the Coliseum soon became an obsession.
As the first Trickmurk Circus he spent in his new clan came to a close, combat was the only thing on his mind. The reason why was simple: If he couldn't serve and sacrifice for his gods, he saw himself as useless. His determination was nearly his downfall.

As time goes by and dragons come and go by the hundreds, Honorguard finds it increasingly difficult to remember who he knew and loved in his past. His loss of identity disturbs him more and more by the day.
He has attempted to contact his previous mates, but could not find them after hours of scrying. He cannot remember the names of all his offspring, or his clan, or his apprentices.
All he can remember is how to fight, so he fights on.
