Tang
Flight Mentor and Guardian of Midnight Shadows
A silly looking dragon waddles into the den. "Oooh! I love this!" they say. They grin at you and stare intently at their orb, covered with crystal shards and sitting on a peridot base. "Can I poke it? Pleaaaaase?" the dragon asks. Kelp rolls her eyes and nods. The dragon jumps up and down, then happily nudges the orb, causing it to open.

Tang is a crystal Coatl, who identifies as male but prefers they/them pronouns. They grew up without a clan. Tang’s clan did not abandon them, or at least not intentionally. A rivaling clan attacked theirs, killing many dragons. Tang was a small dragonet at the time, and praised due to their crystal scales. Lunamist was a Vustal pup that was a hereditary animal of their family due to the similar crystals.

When the rival clan destroyed Tang’s home, a falling stone crushed them, nearly killing them. Both their feet were badly injured, and some of their feathers bent.

When Lavender's clan came through the old camp with the intent of looting it, they found Tang and cared for their injuries. They almost fully recovered, although there are still scars on their feet. They decided to stay with the clan and make their home there. After their wings healed, Lavender gave Tang the job to teach the dragonets in the clan how to fly, due to their giant wings and fluffy, aerodynamic tail.
