______ A gentle giant with a tender heart, Opal is one of the most approachable dragons in the clan. she gets along with just about anybody, and is able to find the beauty in everything. She enjoys reading and learning about all sorts of things most dragons would find irrelevant and pointless. The Care and Keeping Chickens, Fun Fungi Facts, The Many Types of Succulents, you name it and she could probably recite it back to you by heart. She is very social but never to the point of annoying anybody. She's so sweet and sincere in everything she says that nobody can stay in a foul mood for long.
______ Opal met Joules while strolling through her home region. She found him rummaging through old rubble, looking for abandoned tech or pieces of scrap metal. When asked what he was doing, Joules fled to a nearby tree. After convincing him she meant him no harm, they quickly became friends. Opal wasn't anything like the bossy and intimidating dragons in The Shifting Expanse! And Joules was nothing like the boring sticks in the mud, knowledge seeking dragons in the Sunbeam Ruins! These two got along so well in fact, that they eventually decided to carve a lair on the edge of both their home regions and start their own clan. Their decision to start their own clan was a decision neither one of them regret.
______ Her favorite treasure is anything tiny. Opal adores anything smaller than her. Her all time favorite of anything small are the Fae dragons. She loves their pretty little crests and their tiny Fae wings! And their tiny little hands working on tiny Fae things! This is one of the reasons she loves watching Joules work. Not only is she learning all kinds of mechanical know-how, she also gets to see his little hands work on itty-bitty gadgets that do itty-bitty gadget things! So cute!
