General

Many make the incorrect assumption that Gareth, having been born in the Shadow domain, lacks honor. Nothing could be farther from the truth, as honor is at the crux of Gareth's personality. Bound by the knight's code of chivalry, Gareth protects the clan with his unbreakable resilience and superior strength. Any abuse received, both verbal and physical, he suffers with good grace, barely rewarding the aggressor with any reaction at all. It is not easy to rile the ever-serious Gareth. He considers the display of emotion an encumbrance to his role as protector of the clan, and the day when he cracks a smile or displays a scowl is a rare one.

All of these qualities convinced Adeline to make him the Battle Adviser (or General) of the clan. It took a bit of time to convince Gareth that he was better for the job than anyone else in the clan, but he eventually accepted the idea as a better way to keep the clan safe. Now, he's in charge of advising Adeline on the matters of warfare and security and running the guards through their practice and making sure they do their jobs properly. It's a difficult job, but no one ever knows the strain it puts him under. After all, "Emotions are a sign of weakness." 		zbFuP3a.png
