firev1.png Jareth is absolutely batty for bats. He's claimed all bats brought into the clan's hoard as his wards, and he has a colony of them living under his wings nearly at all time. At night he takes the colony outside, releasing them in a fantastic display when he unfurls his wings. He's constructed a cozy rookery for them to roost in when his wings aren't an option, but he's always accompanied by his familiars, a runic and a cursed bat pair who lead the colony.

He's definitely the most eccentric of the Niharike dragons living in Amarayne. His other siblings find his interest a bit strange, but since he has so much fun caring for the colony (and since he sometimes lets them hold the baby bats) they fully support his hobby, often bringing by crickets and moths for his bats to feast upon. His great-nephew Robin often comes to hang around, helping him clean up after his charges and entertaining him with his many hilarious routines.
