Hail and Harbringer
Melanite

Melanite is a hunter for the clan.

Melanite is the younger twin sister of Hematite, but because of the way she acts, nobody would ever know this.

Melanite is demanding, harsh, and powerful - all traits that make the elders worry about her place in the clan. Melanite is one of the fastest dragons on land in her clan and is very skilled at taking down large prey. Regardless, if she ever physically hurts any of her clanmates, the elders will go to Venus at once and implore she be exalted or at least passed off onto another clan immediately.

Melanite and Vulcan have been spotted together recently, which is worrying all of the clan. If the two were to become mates, they could produce the roughest, most dangerous hatchlings the clan has ever seen and, although those dragons might have been worthwhile at the start of the clan when food was scarce, they would only be a nuisance now.

Even more worrying, something seems to be changing her, trying to force its way out....
