Hurikaen

Patriarch of his clan and easily the best caster. Hurikaen is a scholar through and through.
Backstory
Hurikaen was raised in an average Lightning Clan--as one of 2 Imperials, so his childhood was with few playmates, the other hatchlings wanting to play with dragons more like them. He was acquainted with Tempest and Wraith, but never interacted much with them. After reaching adulthood, he moved out and lived alone until again meeting Tempest he eventually joined her and they built their own clan. They have 12 mischievous children: Fin, Flint, Flick, Singe, Blaze, Dak, Kal, Loex, Korth, Siyanc, Tag, and Condor. But after his first clutch, Hurikaen became immersed in research involving Onyx Cobra venom and it's ability to cause an onset of gembond in dragons. Curious, and knowing it could greatly further his genetic study, Hurikaen set off in search of an Onyx Cobra and provoked it into biting him. Sure enough, gembond eventually set in, and this trait has been passed onto all his later hatchlings. Hurikaen has since written multiple scrolls on the subject, for which he has been commended. He also teaches the hatchlings to write as part of their schooling. Although the level of difficulty depends on if they have a study where they would need the school, all young dragons learn the basics.
Personality
Generally pretty mellow, Hurikaen will always play with the hatchlings. Unfortunately, his extremely long tail makes for a nice pouncing target for his 12 children. Good thing he has sharp hearing. Hurikaen is very magical--a fantabulous caster with multiple awesome abilities.
Study
Hurikaen has a good sharp mind. Something of a scientist like most lightning dragons, Hurikaen spends his free time in his lab studying genetics. Heredity, cross-breeding, genes, chromosomes--he loves it all.
