As he grew at an alarming rate, he was raised and reigned in by his parents; taught to hunt, thrive, and generally to live with others (though he'd rather not). He learned to withhold most of his opinions and feelings, who'd enjoy being around someone who was full of himself? He was quite certain, no one. He enjoyed the attention of ladies, feathered wings ruffling whenever he would catch one's eye. Puffing out his chest fluff like a proud boy, seeking his lifemate, though as of yet; he hasn't found one.

Though he wouldn't admit it to anyone that asked, for he must portray the cool, calm exterior of a leader. The self-pride, egotistic ways of a male in his prime.. Definitely not one to admit that he longed for a mate of his own to bear young with, to call him father.

To protect and defend his mate and hatchlings would please him more then anything in the world, but alas... his future still unclear, and his own nest quite lonesome, no one shall ever know his true feelings. The longing for which he hides in the deepest parts of his cold heart. ~
