Biography
Some said that the lonely coatl in the corner of the lair was a curse.
Although the more logical and practical dragons in the clan thought that it was mere superstition and nonsense, they could not shake the feeling that whenever _was around, strange things would happen.
It did not help that her black wings and body seemed like those of a black cat.
Although her belly was as white as snow and stood out against the dark hide, some were convinced that her colouration was unlucky.
The clan leaders were against throwing her out, however.
_ thought that their superstitions were dumb and based on myth.
She did not bring bad luck to the clan.
In fact, like all other black cats, she brought luck to it.
When a hatchling got lost in the Driftwood Drag, it hadn't been the frantic efforts of her clan members, but her own sheer luck in finding it.
_ was still secretly blamed for this, though.
The coatl really couldn't fault them.
It was so much easier to push the blame to another dragon, especially when the dragon in particular does not interact with the clan very much.
It was tiring, sometimes, when _ had to reassure hatchlings or older dragons (who should know better) that she was not bad luck and no of course she wasn't a curse.
They had a tough time believing her.
_ didn’t care anymore.
What was it to them that she was the cause of their troubles?
she actually looks quite similar to the Black Cat subspecies (its a Plague thing) so....here ya go!
