Ekain may have been born in the Sunbeam Ruins, but he has always considered himself to be a Nature dragon at heart - everything from being a Wildclaw to his colouring to his love of flowers suggested it. His father, originally of the Windswept Plateau, understood this call to another flight, and eventually Ekain set off across the water, to the beckoning green of the Viridian Labyrinth.

He found a place with the Golden Canopy clan quickly and happily, settling in amongst the group of nature-lovers and swiftly establishing himself as a gardener of some talent, happily spending his days amongst living greenery instead of cold ruins.

Ekain was amongst those who took the move to the Starfall Isles the hardest, briefly considering following in the footsteps of others and serving the Gladekeeper permanently. Instead, he grudgingly followed along, finding new purpose in exploring and cultivating the flora of the Starwood Strand. When the time came to move on to the Windswept Plateau, he was better prepared - although, frankly, he's more than relieved to be home, now!
