Biography
BrandyBuck: The Beacon of Merriment
Brandybuck grew up near the plains that bordered her homeland of Sunbeam and the shoreline near the Everglades. Even in her young age Brandy was always a clever spirit, causing bits of mischief while also having a great time with her fellow dragonkin. Though as she began to grow and mature, she felt a tug carrying her off to some other land. Her parents forbade such thoughts, even so far as to go to the Lightweaver and ground her from ever leaving the Sunbeam Ruins. It was around this time when she felt a slow depression coming, that she had encountered a dragon not of the light. The dragon was Araisk, The Chemist. Curious as ever, Brandybuck came to the dragon asking her of her reasons for being so far from her home. Araisk told her that it was necessary for her experiments that she collect reeds from the Ruins, so that she might create a poultice for her husband. Worried from her plight, Brandy insisted that she help the wayward alchemist. together they set for the ruins, keeping out of sight as they raced after the ingredients. Successful, they went back to the border together, Brandy using her tools of trickery and merriment to distract the other dragons. Araisk thanked Brandy and just before leaving offered her a choice. She handed her a potion, and told her that this would free Brandybuck from any bond but that if she did drink it she would have to create a new one right away in some form, otherwise the potion would cripple her. Brandy without a second thought took the flask and downed the contents. She smiled for the first time since her grounding and hugging the confused Chemist, set off to her new home.
