Owners I've Had: Cryanth - 54000 doyoulikedragons - 45981 Icedust1-122303 Uh-oh, looks like this midnight warrior wandered a little too far from her lair (54000, Cryanth), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. Part 1 Warglaive spent her whole life wanting to be a warrior, but was never allowed to learn how to fight. That was left to the Knights, a team of elite spirals. Many times she thought about leaving her clan and heading else where, or going to serve the Windsinger. Recently, many caravans have been passing through the clan, bringing various travelers with them. She decided she wanted to travel as well, learn how to fight, and show her clan that fae could be great fighters. She decided she'd set off at once, leaving her Sunbeam Ursa and belongings in the care of her mother, Midvenda. Part 2 The first clan she came upon was a peaceful clan, with only two dragons trained in the art of battle - a mirror, called Annis, and a coatl, Hellebore. However, though there were only two of them, and they fought self-defensively on foraging missions, rather than for the love of battle, they had no reservations whatsoever on the topic of teaching a fae to fight - Annis's own mate was fae, after all. Allowed to join their foraging missions, Warglaive quickly progressed as a warrior, showing her willingness to learn from the outset. So keen was she, in fact, that it wasn't long until her development as a warrior pushed the upper limits of either Annis or Hellebore's teaching skills, and she made the decision to move on, in search of more dedicated training elsewhere. (Arrived Lvl 0, left Lvl 10) Part 3 At the clan of Silversnow, she found some dragons, that, although they were not very experienced in the ways of battle, were great story tellers and were willing to try to help her. The only one above her level was Todd, and he was still new to the clan, and had a difference of opinion about training a fae. Even so, she did have a companion in Apollo, who was a dancer as well as a fighter. He soon left, though, and another fighter took his place as a friend. Her name was Blackmoon. The two convinced Todd to train them, and now they are getting even stronger. Soon she shall be leaving though. Part 4, Return To Home After setting out from clan Silversnow, Warglaive decided to return home and show her clan how much she had learned and how good of a fighter she had become. Her mother and friends welcomed her with open wings and were so glad to see that she had arrived home safely! After putting on her armor once more, she quickly went to the leader of the Knights, Reiri, to ask about joining them. After some deliberation, it was decided that she would fight in the coli with Reiri and Sugary for a few rounds. If she survived that, she would be allowed to join. She of course passed their test with flying colors, and was brought into the Knights! Though Sugary seemed very displeased with this, and left the welcoming ceremony in a huff. Regardless of Sugary's feelings about the matter, Warglaive was so proud and happy to have finally met her goal of joining the Knights! |
