Arabacus

Favorite Familiars: Basilisk and Opposing Forces

In another world and time, Arabacus was mentored by Kyros. He surpassed his mentor and led armies in bloody battles, seeking to subdue the races upon which he and his people fed. He was hailed as a liberator by his people, but abhorred and feared by the other races as a dark sorcerer and monster.

Reborn as a dragon, Arabacus’ interest in war and rebellion has dimmed. He is skilled in his plague abilities and an avid student of further magic, but he is not as obsessive in his studies as Kyros. He shuns the Shade and exchanges hostile words with Kyros whenever the two meet. Kyros was a mentor from hell, and Arabacus still has his bones to pick.

Unlike his reclusive mentor, Arabacus draws others to him. He is charismatic and eloquent; some of Glorvindril’s advisors worry that Arabacus might rebel against her rule and take over the clan by force of word and claw. After all, it was he who convinced his followers to cave in the clan's old cavernous lair, forcing them all to relocate to the Hewn City...
