A wilderness guide into some of the roughest and most hostile climates, Cass isn't much impressed by anything anymore. She lives for challenge, and takes only customers who want to go into dangerous territories. Scaring the **** out of sheltered dragons from well-protected clans gives her a thrill. Thankfully, she's skilled enough in her trade that a few scarred princelings hasn't ruined her stream of income.





When Tyseen appeared to tag along on one of her tours (and then a second, and then a third), she didn't give him much credit. He had fighting skills earned from expensive training, but never tested. And fancy, honorable combat skills aren't much good in the wild. How do you do a leg sweep on a centaur? You don't. But, surprisingly, he managed to keep up, and when he slipped, he never made the same mistake twice. Even his buoyant sense of humor stopped seeming childish and started to become comforting after some time.

While she will probably never actually admit to being Tyseen's mate, she has borne him a clutch of hatchlings. She's assumed a distant, crazy-aunt sort of role in the family. No one is really sure if she even realizes she's considered royalty in their family. Ah well.
