Highly proud, most would have associated Orium with his vanity above his pride as a member of the clan. Of course, for a long time there wasn't really a clan for him to take pride in. He came to the leaderless dragons with the intent of it only being a brief stay, but something of it enamored him, and Orium decided it was home.

During the war, he fell under the charge of Ciciano and his small resistance to the Brood and the iilah. Orium proved then that not only was he fierce with words, but also in battle. His charm was somewhat roughened by the war, and a certain harshness has not left his words and dealings since.

With his vanity intact, Orium came out of the war and through the pilgrimage with a strong desire to stay on the front line as one of Corrosive's defenders. He chose to do this by studying under Bayrune in order to become an ambassador to other clans, promoting Corrosive as a mercenary group and helping them gain contracts.

His fierce words and sharp tongue make him a good spokesperson for a warrior band, demonstrating their prowess, but more delicate matters of negotiation are generally beyond his reach.
