Before I leave home, I'll put on a cheery smile bid farewell to my friends and family. May 29th, 2015 - Highland Scrub, Shifting ExpanseI've ventured into this new lair. Everyone thought I was dangerous but I reassured them that I'm not dangerous at all! I managed to find this really awesome hat in the corner of the lair and I asked everyone if it was theirs, but it wasn't! I've decided to keep hold of it as a reminder of my time in Aralouse. May 29th 2015 - Snowsquall Tundra, Southern IcefieldQuick stop back home to pick up some supplies. This independence stuff sure is tough! June 8th 2015 - Cloudsong, Windswept PlateauEverything has been in a tizzy since I arrived in Kessin's clan! I've had a lovely son Prince, whom I'm told is part of a legacy project. I'm not sure what that is, but it sounds very exciting. Right after that, the whole clan began to rally for Wind Flight dominance. I almost got swept off with all of the breezlings. Fortunately, I was able to tell one of the clan elders that I'm a traveler, not a warrior. It was a close call, though! But! The elder was also able to recommend some other clans that I could visit, which are very close with clan Kessin. When things settle down a bit, I'll be visiting the Fire Flight! June 12th 2015 - Great Furance, Ashfall WastesI've arrived in Clan Ksalya to take refuge from the dominance battle in Wind. I had heard plenty of good things about this clan from others who visited in Clan Kessin, and I am finding much of it to be true. This is going to be an enjoyable stay and perhaps I'll make some friends. There are plenty of crazy characters here; it makes me feel like I'm not all that hyperactive after all. I followed a mated pair into Coliseum, I didn't mean too... but once they noticed me they said they'd teach me a few things. I didn't stay fighting for long, but I already feel a little more knowledgeable, information that should help protect me as I continue my world travels. August 29th 2015 - Snowsquall Tundra, Southern IcefieldHere I am, back home after visiting a huge clan in the Tempest Spire. They were a really lovely bunch but I didn't get the opportunity to get close to any of them. Returning to such a small and cozy clan was a nice change of pace from the lairs of my travels and it was good to catch up with my clan-mates. Unfortunately, Sneak and a few other Tundra had a bit of trouble remembering me so that was a new experience but other than that and the new faces in the clan, everything was exactly as I had remembered, if not a bit snazzier. Somehow, Psepha and Froxmas ended up dragging me into the Kelp Beds and I'm still bewildered as to how they found out that I could fight. I met another nomad called Xavneiros and now we're going off to travel for a bit together! August 24th 2015 - Molten Scar, Ashfall WastesI visited a fire clan, just in time for the Flameforger's Festival! Dragons here were super busy, and the lair was such a mess with all kinds of food, materials, and trickets. When I asked them what was going on, Cinder, the fiery hatchling told me that they were helping the firework show this year. Xavneiros did not seemed fond of hatchlings, but I sat with Cinder and few other hatchlings and helped them make fireworks. During the day there were couple of fire incidents, but the lair keeper extinguished the fire before it touched anything flammable, All the while looking bored. I guess that kind of things happen all the time here. During the firework show, I joined the dragons and watched our work being shot up to the sky. It was great! August 26th 2015 - The Great Furnace, Ashfall WastesIt's been 2 days and we're still in Ashfall Wastes. Xavneiros seems to have lost our map (it's possible it got mixed up with the firework stuff by accident), so we decided to ask a nearby clan for the right directions. It's still Flameforgers Festival, and things are a bit hectic here as well. Everyone looked so busy, but I finally managed to get the attention of a tired, but cheerful-looking coatl who was carrying a big bundle of rather charred packages, She said she was on her way to drop some gifts to some clans in nearby flights and offered to show us the way out of Ashfall Wastes. We also a got a new map as a gift, so hopefully we won't get lost again! add to journal here! Feel free to write in first, second or third person |
